This film is amazing. The cinematography is 100 % certainly not of this earth. There are sequences that literally blow my mind. I'm still picking up bits and pieces of brain lying around on the floor.
I have finally watched this movie, and I loved the hell out of it. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is great playing the main character and Bruce Willis is the same with his. The film is confusing due to its time travel methods but in the end it all came to me.
Love. This. Film.
Absolutely brilliant film, with an epic storyline and score. It shows how studios don't have to make big blockbuster films really dumb, assuming the audience are the same.
I read the book and heard that the movie was not as good so I prepared myself for disappointment. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. They didn't change a lot or leave out a ton. I just really felt like it didn't do the book justice. If I would have seen the movie before reading the book I probably wouldn't have read it.
Could have been good
In Time begins with a mildly interesting concept, but doesn't last for long. The film actually has a good premise, and it teased me at first, sadly it got ruined when all the ideas turned into nothing but car chases and gunfights. What's up with the unnecessary lines of dialogue? Things got very ridiculous at the end...
Misguided, miscast, and amazingly anti-climactic. It's astonishingly inept, poorly conceived, and horrifically acted. Andrew Garfield gives the worst performance of the year.
The Amazing Spider-Man makes Raimi's first two spider-man movies seem like long lost masterpieces.
The only good point was Emma Stone.
All I wanted from this was a fun badass Sci-fi film and that's exactly what I got. It has some flaws, but most of the time when I watch a movie like this all I care about is it entertaining me and Prometheus did that. The sound alone is worth a watch. I thought my house was gonna fall apart a couple of times. If I went in expecting the second coming of Alien I would of been disappointed but for what it is I really dug this film.
Looper is definitelly the best film I've seen in 2012. The directing, performances, and plot are all top notch.
Rian Johnson may become my favorite director working today. Bruce Willis haven't been this badass since Die Hard and Joseph Gordon Levitt gave a great Bruce Willis impression.
The time travel concept is easy enough to understand, in fact several times in the film they refuse to dive too far into the possible complexities of it, which is fine by me.
Overall the film was brilliant and I recommend it to everyone!
Not for everyone
Sometimes I enjoy simple action movies, but the dialog between characters and overall storyline made Dredd boring and unwatchable.
After 20 minutes I didn't really care who lived or died. Actually, I hoped they kill each other sooner for the movie to end...
Favorite alien invasion movie
This is one of my favorite movies. It does a great job of dragging you into it (the found footage and shaky camera). The movie felt so real, like it really happened. Pretty much everything in this film simply works. The tension, the fear, this film has it all in spades. Also great special effects. Cloverfield always delivers no matter how many times you watch it and comes highly recommended.
I was amazed and blown away by this movie. The characters are awesome. The battle in New York was epic. And the story was well put together, too. I definitely recommend watching this movie if you have watched the other 5 movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Lots of fun
This movie was funny, interesting, entertaining and very clever. There is technology and the backstories for all of the characters is believable. Wonderful climax and a believable and teasing ending. Good work to all of those involved in the creation of the Avengers Movie.
